Kim Knows Demos!

DEMO PREP, DIRECTION, WRITING & CONSULTATION

Kim has assisted a number of working colleagues with Demo Prep, Demo Direction, Script Writing, and Consultation on Self-Producing a Demo that have led to those colleagues being accepted onto prominent studio rosters and booking coveted work--and she is now offering these services more widely!

These services are primarily geared towards individuals with acting experience who are looking to make independent, character-focused (Animation, Anime, Live-Action Dubbing, Video Game, etc.) voice demos, though Kim is also available to join any existing demo production team as a writer, director, or to simply help an actor prepare for their upcoming demo session.

Kim's Demo services are most effective for those who have taken coaching or workouts with Kim, but she is happy to work with well-trained, new-to-her talent as well.

**Kim is not an audio engineer, and engineering and/or audio mixing are not part of her demo services. Kim can recommend engineers, but she does not guarantee their rates or availability.**

For Demo Prep: Kim will consult with you on character archetypes, showcasing your full range, and how to assess what types of projects best suit your natural skills. This can include working on copy you bring, which is similar to characters you want on your demo.

Consultation on Self-Producing a Demo includes info about the topics in Demo Prep, but adds practical tips on writing your own copy, self-direction, and other unique aspects of using a self-produced demo in today's market. She can also recommend independent engineers and sound designers, if you are not looking to fully self-produce.

Both this service and Demo Prep are priced the same as each other (and the same as Kim's Coaching), and you are welcome to use your time to discuss your general demo options, or anything else related to your acting journey.

Additionally, Kim can Direct your demo session, and/or Write demo copy for you! These services are available on their own, or as part of a broader demo package.

If you are interested in having Kim only Direct your session, you will have an initial consultation meeting or equivalent intake form for Kim to review, to ensure you are both suited to work together on your demo. You will put Kim in contact with the rest of your demo production team, so she is able to direct you most effectively. A deposit is due once the session booking is confirmed, and her rate is hourly for the session.

If you want Kim to only Write your demo copy, you will have an initial meeting and/or form to fill out to give Kim an idea of what kinds of characters to write, and how many spots she should include. She requests that you also put her in touch with any coaches you may be working with, in order to make sure she's including your strongest types and the full breadth of your acting range. A deposit is due at the time of confirming you want Kim's writing services, and the full amount is due upon her delivery of the first draft. One round of revisions is included. Additional revisions are priced per spot.

Kim can also Evaluate Your Current Demo.

You will submit your demo, and Kim will respond with detailed written notes via email within 7 days of your submission.
